Questions to Ask a Potential Hormone Physician/Clinic with Lauren Finnerty, NP 

How many men have you treated for hypogonadism, or how long have you been managing patients on hormones?

If you are being seen by an NP, does your medical director treat patients in this clinic as well?

Do you have a preferred form of therapy? (Injections, cream, pellets)

How do you determine your dosing schedule?

Do you accept insurance, or do you only work on a cash basis?

Do you offer HCG therapy in addition to testosterone for testicular atrophy and fertility?

Do you use Arimidex (generic: anastrozole) to lower high estradiol?

Do you require blood donation/phlebotomies in case of high red blood cells (hematocrit)?

What other therapies do you offer that complement testosterone replacement?

How often do you have your labs drawn and/or have a consultation with the patient?
