Kasia Borowska is a co-founder and managing director at Brainpool, a global network of AI experts providing Artificial Intelligence strategy and development services. After finishing her degrees in Mathematics and Cognitive Sciences, Kasia started her career in marketing working with brands such as Jaguar Land Rover and HSBC. Having experienced both the academic and the corporate world, Kasia realised how little of the research done at universities is actually applied in real life. Brainpool’s mission is to enable organisations to grow sustainably using Artificial Intelligence. Thanks to its network of over 500 top-level AI and Machine Learning experts, Brainpool provides services for companies across industries, as well as builds its own products to address some of the key challenges faced by its clients. AI solutions built by Brainpool are designed to take on manual, repetitive and time-consuming tasks to allow people to focus on the creative tasks and things that matter the most. One of Brainpool's most successful products to date is DAISY AI, which is the first application of Artificial Intelligence in timber construction design.
