The Future of Development

For the past 6 years I've been part of the Microsoft Portuguese Team, first as a Consultant, Architect and Digital Advisor and now as a Cloud Solution Architect. Working mainly in the Telco and Retail Industries and building some of the coolest things for these customers. As Cloud Solution Architect my work consists of challenging my customers with new ideas and ways for them to take the most out of Cloud technologies, which for me makes this one of the best jobs in the world. My academic background as an Engineer specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Graphics made me specially tailored to address digital challenges that my customers are facing in transforming their businesses by levering technologies such as Data Mining and Machine Learning, Cognitive Intelligence and of course Mixed, Augmented and Virtual Reality. I also teach the Data Mining and Machine Learning, Advanced Data Mining and AI, and Data Science Project courses at the Data Science and Business Analytics Post Graduate course at ISEG, a professional speaker with more than 10 years of experience speaking in different national and international events, and am the President of nonprofit organization called DICE Cultural, an Association focused on creating more awareness around modern board games and a way for me to give back to the community and to a hobby I love so much. for both these topics that I love I’m the founder and host of 2 podcast, Building the future AI Portugal Podcast, and DICE Podcast.
