Robert Raborn, LPC

Rob is a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 10 years of post-graduate field experience in Virginia. He received his B.S. from the University of Central Florida and his M.A in Clinical Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary (a CACREP Accredited Degree Program). His counseling experiences include home and school-based programs, outpatient, and clinical supervision of residents in counseling. Finding the right therapist can be overwhelming and difficult. Deciding if counseling is even what you want or need can be just as hard. “Is this person just going to try make me re-experience painful memories? Are they going to judge me because I don’t have it all together like everyone else?” Not at all. You deserve to meet with a highly-trained professional whose genuine passion for helping will offer solutions and hope. Or perhaps you are thinking to yourself, “Everyone looks to me and believes I have it all together, but if they only knew the truth…” You don’t have to silently carry these burdens, and you don’t have to feel alone anymore. I work with a group of therapists who are committed to combine empathy with resilience-building. We are a practice that knows the best version of yourself exists – we just need to build the roadmap together to get there. For my career, there is no other place that I would rather be than meeting with others and working together towards a meaningful outcome. I encourage anyone who is hurting, grieving, or struggling to just be OK to call me so we can discuss if my services are the best fit for your needs.
