Resilience Podcast Episode 8: Harry Lee Hodges, LPC
Lee is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. His education background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Randolph-Macon College, A Master of Arts Degree in Education and Human Development from George Washington University and a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Lee completed his Licensure Residency working as a Therapist in a Charter School serving adolescents with behavioral and emotional concerns. This experience involved individual, group and family counseling, and crisis response. The work helped Lee cultivate a trauma informed, strength based clinical perspective.
Lee approaches counseling as a “fellow traveler”. As a mature male with significant life experience that includes his own transformative journey, Lee believes difficult circumstances create opportunity for growth. Lee considers therapy a gift we give ourselves. Lee feels honored to witness and participate in his client’s work to create the life they want.
