Five Ways CTE Education Helps Students Discover their Passion

Career technical education (CTE) can give your child what's needed to succeed: technical, academic, and employability skills. Tami Perez is a teacher and CTE Coordinator for the Idaho Technical Career Academy who shares five reasons CTE is an attractive choice for students and parents in schools across the country.
Tami Perez | Career-Technical Education Coordinator Tami has spent twelve years in the classroom as a business and marketing teacher and was an adjunct professor at the College of Southern Idaho offering dual credit at ITCA. Ms. Perez earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Idaho State University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Idaho. The first ten years of her career were in Payroll and Human Resources for Idaho school districts. Ms. Perez spent six years at a Project Based Learning (PBL) New Tech Network High School and helped to implement PBL at ITCA. Ms. Perez loves to share her passion for the business world with students.
